#21: Adrian Tchaikovsky, Elder Race
A satisfying treatise on the subject of "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Reminded me of Sylvia Engdahl's Enchantress from the Stars, except with less patriarchy and a somewhat happier ending.
