#7: Greg Milner, Perfecting Sound Forever: An Aural History of Recorded Music

I don't know that "aural history" is an accurate description of this book, but I did find it to be insightful and very informative. It gave me terms to use for sonic concepts that I had previously perceived but didn't know how to describe, plus lots of fun facts about the history of recording technology and formats.
