#11: Seanan McGuire, Come Tumbling Down (Wayward Children #5)

My knee jerk reaction to this book was "not Jack and Jill again?!" but it turns out that Sumi, for all her candy-coated nonsense, is more terrifying than either of them. Her presence on Jack's quest to save her skin and her home made yet another trip to the Moors bearable for me. Christopher, Kade, and Cora come along too, but their contributions are much less interesting.

This series is finished for now. It looks like another backstory book is planned, but it concerns a character we haven't met yet. I'll come back for a book 7, especially if we finally get to visit Christopher's world or Kade's.
