I was starting to wonder if I was being too harsh on the previous Murderbot stories by only rating them four stars.
The answer is: nope. They get four stars. This one gets a full five.
It's an exquisite rollercoaster of emotions. When you hit the drop, you want to scream, and the later highs are beyond anything I had expected from this series. NO SPOILERS.
You need to have read the earlier books, though, because there are returning characters and multiple references to previous events. Hopefully you grabbed them when the publisher was giving electronic copies away for free a few weeks ago.
