This is another autobiography that I’ve picked up and put down again over the years since Fisher's death. I usually enjoy getting insight into what entertainers' lives were like while off camera, but she was so naive and sheltered while filming Star Wars that in her case there doesn’t seem to be much to tell, apart from her confession that she spent some steamy nights with Harrison Ford while they were on location together. The recovered contemporary diaries I skimmed through quickly, because the only thing more painful than revisiting your own tortured romantic teenage poetry is reading someone else's.
