This memoir was published in 2016 but never came across my radar until recently. Dolby is famous for that one song, of course, but I've long been a fan of his deeper catalogue, and even saw him perform when he was on tour in 2006. I also remember hearing him speak about his company Beatnik at a tech conference in the early 2000's (I've forgotten which one) so I knew about that aspect of his career, but I've long been curious to know more. So I was very happy to find this highly readable account of his life in two parts: how he broke into the music business, and what he did after he turned his back on it.
