kareila_booksThis is the first book I've read from the Galaxy's Edge series, set on and around Black Spire Outpost, the area created for the new Star Wars theme park at Disney World. Timeline-wise, it seems to be located between the events of TFA and TLJ.
The story is fluffy but engaging: childhood best friends Izzy and Jules are reunited when Izzy accepts a courier job that returns her to Jules' homeworld. Things quickly get complicated, and there are lots of colorful supporting characters, but at the end of the day, it's a story about best friends becoming sweethearts, and I'm a sucker for those.
