This is an extremely sweet graphic novel that I could easily imagine being adapted into a Studio Ghibli film. It's about a hearing-impaired young apprentice witch named Nova who lives in a bucolic small town with her grandmothers, helping them run a combination book store/coffee shop/secret magical library. When her childhood best friend, a nonbinary werewolf named Tam, comes back to town to battle a supernatural threat, the two reunite and decide to face their fears together.
