#20: Jim C. Hines, Terminal Alliance (Janitors of the Post-Apocalypse #1)

Like The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, this is another light-hearted space opera that I ended up skimming through because the characters didn't grab me. In this case, I don't know if it's because they were light on personality, or because they had an annoying tendency to appropriate names of famous human celebrities of the past - a woman named Wolfgang Mozart and a man named Marilyn Monroe are two of the members of Our Hero's team, and their alien superiors have adopted names like Brandenburg Concerto and Pachelbel Canon. But apart from that zaniness, the premise and world-building are great, and I'll try the sequel to see if it does a better job of holding my interest.
