This was a somewhat creepy but ultimately delightful fairy tale about a youngest sister's quest for justice. It's not a specific retelling, but there are princesses and godmothers and curses and impossible tasks, plus a large helping of the more whimsically quirky elements I've come to expect in this particular author's work. (A notable companion of the quest is a demon chicken. Yes, literally.)
Content warnings: domestic violence, mild body horror involving teeth. The dog was dead to begin with.
