kareila_booksAnother entry in the continuing saga of the Lumberjanes. This time the camp cabins are competing in an astronomy-themed series of events, which is interrupted by the arrival of an extraterrestrial visitor.
I like that each book has a different primary viewpoint character. The first book featured April, and this one features Jo, an introverted engineer whose loyalty to her friends is tested when she receives an offer to switch to a summer academic program and do amazing science things instead of remaining with the Lumberjanes.
It looks like the next book will feature Ripley, who seems to have the complicated inner life of a disco ball, so that should be interesting. My library doesn't have it yet, though.
